Completing the digital flow in WS Srl's production processes
WS Srl, a Maranello-based company specialising in contract machining and welding for the motorsport, automotive and marine sectors, continues its growth path by investing in the full digitisation of its production processes.
After years of development and modernisation, the company is taking a further step by introducing new 4.0 technologies that will enable the integration and tracking of hitherto non-digitalised stages. The aim is to make production more efficient, faster and more flexible, while at the same time improving quality and customer service.
The project includes two main interventions:
- the installation of a new PRIMINER digital vertical machining centre, which will enhance the milling phase, eliminate current bottlenecks and introduce a new end milling service;
- the inclusion of a Mitutoyo Crysta CMM, an advanced, fully digitised and interconnected quality control system capable of automatically generating inspection reports for each batch.
Thanks to full integration with the company's MES and new real-time data flows, WS Srl will be able to manage the entire production cycle in an even more coordinated manner, increase production capacity and respond more quickly to market demands.
